Healing at the Root: Soul Loss and Energy Intrusions
Step deeper into the path of shamanic healing through this immersive six-day residential workshop exploring two core practices: Soul Retrieval and Intrusion Removal.
Rooted in ancestral traditions and practised across shamanic cultures throughout the world, these approaches invite us to cultivate greater harmony in our lives and in our relationships with others, and the greater living whole. Together, we’ll explore how these practices can be understood and applied within a contemporary context; for ourselves, our communities, and the wider world.
Within many shamanic traditions, soul loss is understood as a response to trauma, shock, or profound disruption. During this training, you’ll explore the practice of Soul Retrieval, learning how it seeks to restore harmony, vitality, and wholeness through the return of what has been lost.
We’ll also explore the practice of Intrusion Removal. Intrusions are understood to contribute to imbalance or disharmony. You’ll learn established approaches for recognising and removing these intrusions safely, respectfully, and with appropriate preparation.
This is a deeply experiential training. You’ll experience the practices from the perspective of both practitioner and client, developing practical skills while deepening your own understanding through direct experience. We’ll also explore the importance of integration, helping to ground the work in everyday life and support its ongoing unfolding.
Practical Details
• This is a six-day residential training, including accommodation and nourishing meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
• Participants should already be familiar with shamanic journeying, either through our Introduction to Shamanism workshop or an equivalent course from another school. An introductory conversation may be required to ensure the training is appropriate for your experience and where you are on your path.
