Introduction to Shamanism: A Weekend of Discovery

Step into the dreaming of the world – a two-day immersion in shamanic practice for everyday life.

Across time and culture, shamans have walked between worlds – tending to the unseen, listening to the spirits of land and sky, and calling on ancient wisdom to meet the needs of their communities. In this workshop, we return to these pathways. Through embodied, experiential practice, you’ll learn how to shift your state of awareness, navigate alternate realities, and build relationship with Spirit – within, around, and beyond.

Shamanism is not a belief system, but a way of being in the world – an animist path that knows all things as alive, ensouled, and interconnected. These practices can help you meet modern life with greater clarity, resilience, and meaning – whether you’re moving through change, seeking deeper connection, or simply feeling the call to something more.

No experience is necessary – only a willingness to listen deeply, explore sincerely, and follow the thread of your own unfolding.

Come – step out of clock-time, into myth-time – and discover what the old ways are whispering to you now, and how they might guide you home in the present.

“Richard guided us through many magical and transformative journeys with compassion, wisdom, strength, and humour. In each session, he masterfully brought together the unique energies of all participants, creating a safe and sacred space from which we could work and explore within. His instructions were always clear and intentional, often enriched by his own personal stories, which seamlessly wove together the lessons and his extensive experience. By the end of the course, I felt incredibly fortunate to have learned from such a true master. The teachings were profound, and my only regret is not having encountered them sooner. I eagerly look forward to the next opportunity to learn from Richard.”
