Held by the Earth: A Ceremony of Transformation
Across cultures and throughout history, people have turned to the Earth in times of transition, grief, uncertainty, and renewal. Shamanic burial is one such practice; an ancient ceremony that invites us to pause, surrender what no longer serves, and be held through the quiet wisdom of the Earth.
This six-day immersive experience offers time to prepare carefully through experiential practice, time in nature, reflection, and group process before the ceremony itself. Together, we create a safe and supportive environment in which trust, relationship, and intention can naturally unfold.
The ceremony invites a profound encounter with yourself, the Earth, and the deeper currents of your own life. Held within the embrace of the Earth through the night, many people experience a renewed sense of perspective, clarity, and belonging. Each experience is unique, unfolding in its own way and in its own time.
As dawn breaks, the ceremony draws to a close and a new day begins. Many describe this moment as one of renewal; a quiet opportunity to step forward with fresh awareness, a lighter heart, and a deeper relationship with themselves and the living world.
Like all meaningful rites of passage, this ceremony cannot be fully explained; it is something to be experienced. What unfolds belongs to you and to your own relationship with your life and the Earth.
